Heather Humphreys, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation and Fine Gael TD for Cavan Monaghan, has welcome the announcement that approval has been granted for Additional Accommodation at St. Macartan’s College in Monaghan.

Speaking on the matter, Minister Humphreys said:

I am delighted to have received confirmation that a significant allocation of Additional Accommodation has been sanctioned for St. Macartan’s College in Monaghan. The works at St. Macartan's will include a special autism facility with specialist classrooms and ancillary facilities, a new technology suite and preparation area, and a new music suite.

This is fantastic news and I hope to see work commence on the ground as soon as possible, which is what every parent, pupil and teacher at St. Macartan’s College wants to see happen.
